This tee. I love this tee from A Thousand Hills! It is perfect. As a woman raising cattle, these are my words... grit and grace.

When I saw this grit + grace tee, I knew I had to have it in my life. I bought two... one in white and one in navy This tee is perfect by itself in the summer or with a cardigan, jean jacket, or blazer in the spring and winter. 

This tee in navy is perfect with a favorite pair of jeans and boots. A great necklace will give it a sweet touch.  

My faux leather leggings and black strappy heels will be so cute with the white tee. Style it with some great jewelry... and it is edgy and adorable!

A great pair of earrings can dress up a basic tee shirt and jeans. And, I love a unique pair of earrings... especially when they are handcrafted. 

I am loving leather earrings. They are a new favorite. And, these! Oh my goodness. My heart is fluttering. I love these earrings from Yondr Made so very much. The teardrop earrings with turquoise are truly beautiful. And, the square earrings with tassels are so much fun!

This sign from Uncommon Groove! It was custom made for me 💜 And, it is beyond my expectations... I am absolutely in love with it! Oh my goodness.

 

The 31 x 6 sign has an ivory background with [ cows & iced lattes ] in black. It has a stained frame for a nice accent. The font is so adorable!! It is perfection. I plan on hanging it above my kitchen cabinets after I refurbish them. It will look super cute!!

Oh, Burlap Bovine 💜 How I adore this keychain 💜 This is the Hay Sweetie Boho Farmhouse Heifer keychain from Burlap Bovine. Absolutely in love with it!

 

The keychain is of mahogany leather that was distressed and painted in ivory for a boho chic look. So. Dang. cute! Malorie at Burlap Bovine just gets me  💜

A friend { Cindy } and I enjoyed a lovely night at Lucia Nights in Bishop Hill. We walked the quiet streets lined with luminaries on a calm and chilly December evening. It was so peaceful. Such a beautiful sight of candles filling the windows of the historic buildings in the Swedish settlement. It was a great evening with my friend.   

We casually strolled to Peasant Works that is nested in a beautiful old barn. I have always admired the décor... it is so unique. And in the winter, the barn is absolutely stunning. At Peasant Works, I found a pair of earrings I loved. They are crafted by Barnstorm Ironworks. The earrings are designed from reclaimed wood. So much fun! I am excited about wearing them.

Breathtaking. Seeing this barn at night was breathtaking!

While in Texas for Antiques Week, I found an amazing cowhide wristlet shopping at The La Vida Loca. Absolutely in love with it.  

 

 

When I saw this wristlet, I knew I needed it. Gorgeous.... leather, cowhide, fringe, and fur. Oh my heart! 

I seriously cannot stop swooning over it * heart eye emoji * This wristlet is so much fun! And, I am so excited it is mine. Looking forward to wearing this sassy wristlet with a cute and casual outfit. It really makes a statement.

On Instagram, I wandered into Burlap Bovine. Oh goodness! I then grazed through the Burlap Bovine shop on Etsy. Such beautiful, handcrafted leather earrings. This cow chick just had to have a pair.

 

I ordered the large teardrop earrings in the acorn color. The stitching adds a cute and rustic touch. Love these earrings so much! They are absolutely adorable! So classic. And, they will be perfect to wear throughout the seasons.   

 

I mean. Even the earring holder is adorable! I can't even.

Keri and I were wandering around Round Top during Antiques Week. And we came across a booth with beautifully handcrafted jewelry. Oh goodness.

So much gorgeous jewelry at Cross My Heart. I fell in love with these earrings! Cowhide and a little sparkle... perfect for this cow chick. They are simple and fun and will make a casual outfit super cute!

A goal of mine for 2019 was to journal...

I absolutely love this journal from Target! It is so so cute! And, I this girl does run on iced lattes and a dream. Ha!

This journal inspired my goal of penning my thoughts. In June, I finally decided to start my journaling. It was something I felt my heart really needed. And, I am so glad I did. It has been a wonderful way to note the small things in life I love and appreciate.

I love baseball caps! I am obsessed with them.

And, I absolutely LOVE caps from Bad Bitch Cattle Co! I have been wanting this cap for a while. So, it was a birthday gift to myself.

My favorite color is purple. And, add cheetah print. This BBCC cap is perfect for me!

Fika [ pronounced fee-ka ] is Swedish for coffee break.  

I love these mugs!! These mugs are from the Bishop Hill Colony Store. Every time I walk into the Colony Store, I see these mugs sitting on the shelves. So, I decided to buy two for myself! They are in many colors but decided to for the blue and yellow... colors of the Swedish flag. These will also make great gifts for friends and family.

 

I will be using these mugs a lot this winter!

So, I am addicted baseball caps...

On my road trip to Texas, I found a cap [ and tees ] at Lazy J Ranch Wear. I fell in love. How can I not love a cap with a Hereford bull?!

This is my favorite new cap! You will be finding me wearing it all the time.

One of my favorite finds from Texas was a Longhorn...

It is a Longhorn made of small branches. Oh my goodness. When I saw this Longhorn at a shop outside of Brenham, TX... I had to rope it. Ugh. It is so flipping cute! [ post from my road trip to TX ]

 

This Longhorn now has a new 'pasture' at my rustic farm home in IL! I am in love with it! It is just what this cow chick needed.

 

When I returned home from my road trip visiting Keri, I decided to turn my Longhorn out on my patio to graze. Since it is a planter, a beautiful plant will be a nice accent. We are nearing fall, so I bought a purple mum and kale. These plants will add a pop of color and texture throughout the fall. My Longhorn looks so cute on my rustic farm patio! In love!

 

 

When Illinois weather turns cold and snowy, I will have to bring my Longhorn inside for the winter.

On a road trip through the old stockyards in Fort Worth, I found a cute western shop. Lazy J Ranch Wear is such a funky shop in the cow town.

 

There were so many sweet Hereford tees and caps! This cow chick roped a cap, tee, and tank. I was so excited.

In love. I am in love this retro print! I had to lariat this Hereford tee. This black tee is absolutely perfect to wear with jeans or shorts. I can see myself styled with a bandana in my hair.

I also had to lasso this tank. A Hereford bull in a squash blossom... Ugh! This is so incredibly cute! It is adorable worn as a tank top, or with a cardigan or jean jacket. I am so excited to wear this tank top! It will be perfect with jeans, shorts, capris, or skirts.

I am in LOVE with this pillow! This pillow is incredibly adorable! I have always loved pillows. They are so easy to use in decorating my rustic farm chic home. Pillows are a quick way to change up a room. They can add so much character to the décor of a room.

This pillow from Aspen Lane is so perfect! And, it is very unique! I absolutely love that it uses the coordinates of my farm home. So neat! It is now one of my favorites! A perfect place needs to be found for it in my home...whether it is in my bedroom, living room, or office. Right now, it is in my bedroom. I am displaying it in a sea grass basket that is on a wooden bench my dad made. A fern adds a little accent.

On a road trip to Texas to visit a friend, I found this pillow at the old Fort Worth stockyards. I absolutely love it! Everything about it is super cute. The rectangular pillow is made of burlap and has black fringe on the sides. And, I adore the script! This farm frilly pillow will be perfect in my living room or bedroom!

My nieces [ Alexandra + Brenna ] and I enjoyed a girl day. It has become an annual tradition of ours to cherish small and fun moments together. It always brings a smile to my face and makes my heart happy.

We started our day with a stop at Flour House. It has become a tradition. We enjoyed delicious pumpkin cinnamon rolls and iced coffees! So yummy! And, Flour House is such a cute and cozy bakery where we can chat.

 

We walked to and explored a few local shops. At The Makery, I found this wooden [ Be Brave ] sign by Homemade On Highview. LOVE!! It is perfect. I have it in my farm office / laundry room.
